Funeral services for Delos Clifford Dancer, age 77, of Richwood, TX, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Brazoria Cemetery. Interment will be held at Brazoria Cemetery.

A wake will be held at Lakewood Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends at Lakewood from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2016.

Clifford was born August 17, 1938, to Mr. and Mrs. Lavine Dancer in Detroit, MI. Clifford graduated from Brazosport High School in 1956, where he played football and ran track. He later spent some time with the New Orleans Saints before hurting his ankle. Clifford was a proud Army Veteran. Clifford lived in Freeport most of his life until he moved to Richwood in 2001.

Survivors include his dearest friend, George Tidwell and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Imelda Dancer.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Tidwell, Jose Garza, Jerrick Sinson, Brian Thompson, Eddie Norris and Louie Sinson.
