Theresa Anne Linton Blankenship, 56, of Angleton went to be with the Lord April 1, 2011. She was born Jan. 2, 1955 in Three Rivers, Texas to Tom and Phyllis Linton. She graduated in 1973 from La Marque High School. Theresa was a Sr. Administrative Assistant at RiceTec. She enjoyed gardening, camping, motorcycle riding, and her grandchildren. Theresa was involved in a variety of organizations. She was a member of the Life Foursquare Church in Angleton, Texas. Theresa was preceded in death by her mother Phyllis Linton and a grandbaby, Graceon. She was survived by her husband Bruce Blankenship of Angleton, her father Tom Linton, Sr. of Sante Fe, Texas, 3 daughters: Rebekah Blankenship and husband Justin of Angleton, Rachel Montealegre and husband Albert of Lake Jackson, Ruthie Gundy and husband Stephen of Rosharon, 5 step-children: Therl Gould and wife Laura of Evansville, Indiana, Thea Gould of Evansville, Indiana, Dwayne Blankenship and wife Kandis of Friendswood, Texas, Darbi Blankenship (Matt Harris) of Dickinson, Texas, Bobby Blankenship of Dickinson, Texas, 15 grandchildren, 3 brothers: Charles Linton (Rebecca Baker) of Austin, Texas Tommy Linton, Jr. and wife Jessica of Santa Fe, Texas, Ted Linton and wife Cheri of Alvin, Texas, several nephews and nieces The family will receive friends 6pm until service time Tuesday. Memorial services will be 7pm Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Life Foursquare Church; 501 Karankawa, Angleton, Texas 77515 with Cere Muscarella officiating. Honorary pall bearers will be: Justin Blankenship, Albert Montealegre, Stephen Gundy, Dwayne Blankenship, Bobby Blankenship, Judy and Sonny Bowman, Susie and Chris Montealegre and the LMHS GNO of 1973. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations may be made to A-Med Hospice; 8900 E. F. Lowry Exprwy. Suite 101; Texas City, Texas 77591. Theresa was very strong in her faith and was loved by many and will be dearly missed. She was known as MiMi to her grandchildren and all of their friends.
The family will receive friends 6 p.m. until service time Tuesday. Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at Life FourSquare Church; 501 Karankawa, Angleton, Texas, 77515, with Cere Muscarella officiating.
