She moved to Freeport Texas in 1963 and made Freeport her permanent home. She retired from Intermedics after 20 years of service. She was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church and the Church Founder for may years. She dedicated much of her time to the church and to the community until her health started to fail. Beulah loved her church family her favorite scripture was
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,'' declares the LORD, ''plans to prosper you not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Beulah is survived by her best friend Norma Moreno Garcia of Freeport, her sister in law Vera Dumas of Sanford, FL, her friend Pam Sanchez of Freeport, a host of nieces and nephews from Ft. Myers, FL as well as all over the United States.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her four brothers Charles Dumas, Willie Jackson, Artist Jackson, and James Jackson.
Pallbearers will be Thaddeus Backman III, Pramious Wayne Campbell Jr., Marcelino Robledo, Christopher Norris, Jerry Cain, and Donovan Backman. Honorary Pallbearers are Kenny Jackson, Jay Garcia, Daniel Garcia, Julian Soto, Juliana Soto, Jayden, Adrian, Nicolas Olguin, Deondre Daley and Daniel Escamilla.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 612 N. Ave D in Freeport, TX. Family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M to Service time on Saturday. Interment will follow at Gulf Coast Cemetery in Clute, TX.
