Butch was born March 19, 1944 in Bay City, TX to the late Virgil Lee and Mary Ellen Braden Cochran. He married the love of his life Renae Champion and between them they had 5 children.

He is survived by his loving wife Renae Champion Cochran of 41 years. Three sons, David Cochran and wife Kim of Cache, Ok, Darrell Cochran and wife Wanda of Rockport, TX, Robert (Robbie) Hunt Sr. and wife Melissa of Sweeny, TX. Dearest Loved Ones, we are heartbroken to see Butch go. I know and you also, that he was a Christian and he's home today and for eternity. We know all these good things, but we also know how much we will miss him! I love y'all.

Aunt Renae and family,

I am so sorry for the loss of Uncle Butch. My prayers are with y'all in this time while all of you suffer through this time. Unfortunately I am unable to attend the viewing or funeral as I have work that day in Houston. I love all of y'all.
