Zelvin Adolphus Webb

Zelvin Adolphus Webb, better known by friends and family as "Zeke", passed away surrounded by his family and into the arms of Jesus on May 24, 2016 at home in Lake Jackson, Texas. Zeke was born November 19, 1924 in Gilmer, Texas. A pioneer of Lake Jackson arriving at the early age of 17. Zeke served his country proudly in the United States Navy during World War II. He worked for Dow Chemical Company, retiring after 38 years. Zeke was a member of Willow Drive Baptist Church and a member of Lake Jackson Masonic Lodge #1317. Zeke was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Billie Lee Wingo Webb; his father, Talbert Amos Webb; mother, Sybil V. Blalock Webb; sister, Melouise Webb Drake; and one grandson, Casey Webb. Zeke's memory lives in the hearts of his son, Zelvin Paul Webb and daughter-in-law, Anne; his son, Cecil Amos Webb and daughter-in-law, Pam; his daughter, Patricia Jeanne Webb Quisenberry; his daughter, Sybil Elouise Webb Lyssy; his eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren; and his sister, Erma Jean Webb Rambo, of Lake Jackson. Zeke is remember for his loving strength as a husband, father, brother and grandfather. Family visitation will be held at 12:30 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Lakewood Funeral Chapel. Zeke will be honored with a Masonic Funeral.
