Billy Ed Harlan, 84 of Clute passed away May 21, 2015 at his home. Billy was born June 28, 1930 in Marlin, Texas. Billy Ed was a local rancher, an iron worker for over 35 years, and he also worked at Precinct 1 as a foreman and superintendant.

The family will receive friends 6pm until 8pm Wednesday, May 27, 2015. at Lakewood Chapel . Funeral services will be 3pm Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Restwood Cemetery.
