Anita Louise Weisinger, 76, of Lufkin, Texas woke up with Jesus Thanksgiving Day November 23, 2017. We can only imagine what perfect peace and joy she received free from the pain and suffering. She was born on March 9, 1941 in Pauls Valley, Ok. to James and Alene Evans. Anita grew up in Clute graduating in 1959 from Brazosport High and married her high school sweetheart Jerry E. Weisinger. In 1967, Anita and Jerry joyfully adopted a baby girl, Marrie, from the Methodist Home. Anita and Jerry lived in the Freeport area for years before moving to Lufkin where she spent most of her adult life. She worked for the Texas Forest Service for 10 years and later became a compassionate care giver for many years with Ms. H.L. Polk and others. Anita had a beautiful giving spirit and loved serving others and her vivacious laugh was with her until the last two weeks of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry, her baby daughter Anisa Mae and her parents James and Alene Evans. She is survived by her daughter Marrie Weisinger-Williams and fiancée Ben Clawson, grandson Jeremy Williams and wife Brittaney, granddaughter Hollie Williams Spinn and husband Kolton, five great grandchildren, Tiergan, Killian, Caellum, Ailsah, and Rierdan. She is also survived by her brother Jimmy Evans and wife Lene, sister Mary Allred and husband Dene, cousin Carolyn Hendricks, niece Melanie Kirk and husband Ed and three nephews, Kurt Evans and wife Julie, Mark Allred and wife Amy, and Matt Allred and wife Jamie. She had numerous great nieces and nephews. We praise Jesus for welcoming her to his Heavenly Home where she is rejoicing with her loved ones already there.
