Philip (Phil) Charles Clark was born April 9, 1952, in Baton Rouge, LA, to Anna Clark and Jesse Clark. Phil graduated from Brazosport High School in 1970 and Texas A&M in 1976. Phil is survived by his wife of 45 years and love of his life, Donna Hayes Clark; beloved daughter, Shonda Clark Harwell, and son-in-law, Shane Harwell; treasured grandchildren, Stefen and Sesse Harwell; mother, Anna Clark; siblings, Michael Clark, Gregory Clark, and Stephanie Stacks; and many loving family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Clark. Phil passed away at his home on May 15, 2016, with his loving family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer. Phil would want to be remembered for his intense love of his wife, daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. Before retiring, Phil worked as a CPA. Phil enjoyed hunting with Shane and Stefen as well as playing dress-up with Sweet Pea. Phil had a keen wit and great sense of humor. Those who loved him will miss him tremendously and will always be thankful for the time God blessed them with Phil's life. A celebration of Phil's life will be held Friday, May 20, 2016, at 5:00 p.m. at Grace Community Fellowship.

Dear Clark Family,
My prayers and concern go out to the members of Philip's family left to grieve the all around good man, Phillip Charles Clark. God bless and keep you safe through out the coming times. You are a strong woman, Donna.
You will come to accept the hole Phillip left for the shared love of both of you. God bless each of you as the days pass.

I don't really remember a time you weren't part of our family. At times I thought you were a saint for putting up with all of us at other times thought you must of been crazy. There was never any doubt of your love for Donna or the pride you had in your kids. Shonda, Shane, Stefan and his darling Sesse, aka Sweetpea. You were a good man and I will miss you. RIP Phil, Love June
