Funeral services for Charles Kouches Jr., age 75, of West Columbia, TX, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2016, at Lakewood Funeral Chapel with Father Jesse Garcia officiating. Interment will be held at Restwood. A wake will be held at Lakewood. The family will receive friends at Lakewood from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, 2016. Charles enjoyed working as Captain on boats because he loved the water so much. He enjoyed his family. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jeanie; father, Charles Kouches Sr.; daughter Donna Wheeler Webster; brother, Johnny Kouches and wife, Maria; grandsons, John David Cohea and spouse, Annie, Billy Dean Webster and Dalton Varnado; great-grandson, Clark Cohea; two nephews, Jason Kouches and wife, Jessica, Jonathan Kouches; four nieces, Alicia Kouches and husband, Joaquin Cordova Jr., Christina Kouches Hernandez and husband, Oscar Hernandez II, Kristin Cox Green, Amber Cox Erikson and husband, Chase; several great-nieces and -nephews; nephews, aunts, uncles, and relatives. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Lara Kouches; sister, Josephine Kouches Cox; brother, Mitchell Kouches; daughter, Dena Wheeler; niece, Michelle Cox; nephew, Gary Cox.
