Memorial Service for Raymond Gary Hopwood, age 60, of Brazoria, will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at First Presbyterian Church in Brazoria, with Rev. Wilma Harris officiating. Interment will be held at Brazoria Cemetery. Raymond was born November 12, 1956, in Bourbon, MO and passed away March 23, 2017, at home in Brazoria. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Virginia Hopwood; brothers, Larry and Michael Hopwood; and niece, Elizabeth Hopwood. Survivors include his wife, Lauren Whitehurst; sons, Wayne Flippen, Daniel and Andrew Hopwood; sister, Linda (Frank) Wright; and brother, Bill (Cynthia) Hopwood; three grandsons; one granddaughter; three nieces and four nephews.
