Brian Craig Angus Sr., age 39, peacefully passed away, after a long and brave battle against cancer, on Good Friday, April 14, 2017 (following in Christ's footsteps) at his home in Brazoria, TX. Brian was born on October 23, 1977 in New Martinsville, West Virginia to Eugenia (Kitty) Richbourg and Richard Angus. He spent the first several years of his life in West Virginia, but eventually moved to Texas, where he met, and later married on June 16, 2000, the love of his life, Kelly (Burge) Angus. Brian's feelings for Kelly are best described in his own written words: "you are the best thing that has or ever will happen to me." Their family expanded in 2005 with the birth of their son, Brian Jr., and again, in 2008, with the arrival of their daughter, Kaylee. Brian's family was his life, and he loved to watch his son's passion for building things, especially Legos, and was so very proud of his daughter's amazing talent in gymnastics. But his one true love was his wife, Kelly, and even in the end, through all of his suffering, it was Kelly he was concerned about, worrying that in caring for him she was exhausting herself. This was the type of man he was, caring more for his family than for himself. Brian had an almost 20 year career with UPS, and there was not a person there he did not consider a friend. He also started his own business, Texas Tow, which he and Kelly ran together. Brian had a passion for cars, and was ecstatic to get his Cadillac CTS-V this past year. He loved anything that went fast: as Kelly puts it, "he had a need for speed." Over the years, he owned many vehicles, including Mustangs, Evos, boats, ATVs, and even RC cars. He also loved to skate, and he, along with his family, could regularly be found enjoying their time at Skating America. In the past year, Brian developed a strong devotion to God, and it was this devotion and faith that brought him peace in the end, knowing that to lose his fight here on Earth meant gaining a forever in Heaven. Brian will always be remembered and loved by his wife, Kelly; his children B and Buggy; his parents Kitty and Ric; his parents-in-law, Darrel and Cindy; his grandmother Nellie; his siblings Tricia and Benjy; his sisters-in-law Trisha (Rich) and Jae (Chris); his close cousin, Kathy; his dear friends, Brendan, Russell, DJ, and Robbie; his aunts and uncles; his many, loving friends (who all ran to be with him when the end was near), and his many nieces and nephews (all of whom will greatly miss their "Uncle Fred"). A celebration of life will occur on Saturday, April 22, at 4pm in the fellowship hall of Family Life Church, 220 Lake Rd, Lake Jackson, TX 77566. Brian always thought flowers were a "waste of money," even though he still lovingly bought them for Kelly. Therefore, instead of sending flowers, Brian would have liked to guarantee that his children's futures are provided for, so please instead make contributions to their college fund. There will be a contribution box at the celebration, or you can mail a check in Kelly Angus's name to P.O. Box 1918, Angleton, TX 77516. For any questions about the celebration or the college fund donations, please feel free to send an email to jessica.guethle@yahoo.com. "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things... Love never ends." - 1 Corinthians 13:7

So sorry to hear about the passing of Brian. I have such fond memories of him when he was in my son's cub/boy scout group. Praying for comfort.
