On Sunday, the Lords day, February 11, 2018, God called his child, Teodoro (Ted) Moya III, age 60, to his eternal home. Ted was born in Corpus Christi, TX on August 24, 1957. Ted is survived by his wife, Shirley Lancaster Moya; daughter, Amanda Leanne Moya; mother, Andrea Sanchez Moya; siblings, Alex John Moya (Sean), Jesus Trini Moya, and Candice Crystal Moya (Mark); step-son, Jason Thomas Sizemore; step-daughter, Brandy Nicole Sizemore; grandson, Benjamin (Ben) Andrew Jackson; step-granddaughter, Mikayla Nicole Hudson; step-grandsons, Jamie Thomas Sizemore, and Cody Wayne Sizemore. There are also numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, whom he loved very much. Ted is also survived by a host of loving in-laws, nieces, and nephews that he loved also. Ted is also survived by close friends, Pennie Whitehead, Scott and Candy Swartzenberg and family, Alex and Brisa DeLeon and family, and Fred Crowson, and Gwen Gastinel; as well as a host of other longtime friends from his Zachry family. Preceeded in death by his father, Teodoro Moya Jr.; brother, Juan Corando Moya, Sr; brother, David Moya; and sister, Roxann Moya Carlson. When Ted had time free from his job with Zachry Holdings Incorp. of 28 years, he loved to ride his Harley Bike named "Blackjack". He also enjoyed all types of music, tattoo's and going to concerts. Ted had served his country in the United States Marine Corps. as a Lance Corporal and was a Field Radio Operator. After the Marines, Ted then joined the Army National Guard as a Communication Equipment Operator. Ted has received an Honorable Discharge from both branches of service. Ted was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his wife, family and friends!!! A Memorial will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm at: Dow Academic Center, 500 College Blvd., Lake Jackson, TX 77566.
