Joicey Augusta Moore went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday September 5th, 2014 at her home in Dallas Texas, with all 4 of her children at her side. Her life will be celebrated on Thursday September 11, 2014 at First Baptist Church Clute, Texas at 10 am. Visitation will be Wednesday September 10, 2014 from 6-8pm at Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Jackson Texas.

Joicey was born October 11, 1926, in Ybor City, Fl to James Herman Abbott and Juliette Frances. July 1, 1944 she married the love of her life William Clyde Moore and they spent the next 69 years building a life and a family in Brazoria County Texas. She was a devoted wife, a dedicated mom and a faithful employee of the Brazoswood ISD Food services department, where she loved being a lunch lady and seeing all of her "KIDS" everyday.

Preceded in death by her parents and Husband William Clyde Moore, She is survived by three sons, Bill Moore and wife Anita of Rockwall, Texas, Alden Moore and wife Billie of Keller, Texas, Kevin Moore of Rockwall, Texas; one daughter, Mary Medders and husband David of Dallas, Texas; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous beloved nieces, nephews and cousins

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, 2222 Welborn Dallas, Texas 75219 Attention Development Department. Funeral arrangements by the Turner Family of Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Jackson.
