Lois Dean Hancock, 64, of Freeport passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015.

She was born July 16, 1950 in Freeport, Texas to John W. and Rosa Surovik Hancock. She enjoyed crocheting and playing cards with family and friends after retiring from Hobby Lobby.


She was preceded in death by her parents.

Lois is survived by three sisters: Darlyn Berry and husband Roddy of Ingram, Tx.
Bonnie Hancock of Lake Jackson, Dixie Stanford of Lake Jackson,
3 nephews: Ryan Stanford and wife Tracy of Denton, Brent Berry and wife Missy of Round Rock, Chad Stanford and wife Melissa or Rosharon, 1 niece Monica Kiefer and husband Mark of South Padre Island and 10 great nieces and nephews.


Family to receive friends 12:30pm until memorial services time at 1:30pm Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel.



In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the First United Methodist Church, 1600 West Broad Street, Freeport, Texas 77541.
