Funeral services for Edna Lillian (Palat) Tribble, age 88, of Brazoria, Texas, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015, at Lakewood Funeral Chapel. A viewing will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, May, 28, 2015.

Edna was born on July 26, 1926, in Fairchild, Texas. She passed away peacefully at St. Luke's Hospital, Houston, on Sunday, May 24, 2015.

She married Ennis Jefferson (E.J.) Tribble in December 1946. They had 36 happy years together until his death in 1982. She was an active member of Presbyterian churches in both Freeport and Brazoria over her lifetime, and enjoyed the company of many family and friends throughout her life. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her son, Ronald Tribble and wife, Barbara, of Lake Jackson; daughter, Gail Tarver, of Pearland; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Eric Tribble, Travis Tarver, Justin Tarver, Jimmy Palat, Larry Seiler, and Caleb Edinger.

Memorial gifts, if desired, may be directed to First Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 70, Brazoria, Texas 77422.

May you find peace and comfort in knowing that Edna now lives with Heavenly Father and her loved ones that passed before her. It is a joyous reunion for her and a time of sorrow for those she had to leave behind. My deepest condolences.
