Virginia Faye Todd, 95, of Lake Jackson and Brazoria, passed away at her home in Brazoria on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, with her daughters by her side. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Lakewood Funeral Chapel in Lake Jackson, Texas. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Virginia and her husband, Paul, moved to Lake Jackson in 1951 and raised their family there. She has been a member of First Baptist Church of Lake Jackson since 1951. One of her proudest accomplishments was the establishment of the church's library. She continued to volunteer at the library until recently. She has dedicated her life to God and family. She loved nature as evidenced by her love of gardening, collecting rocks while traveling the country and hiking in the mountains. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; her son, Robert O'Brien Todd; and her son-in-law, Milam Armour Munson. She is survived by her two daughters, Paula Miller (Gray) and Connie Munson; her daughter-in-law, Linda Todd; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ken Goolsby, Jeremy Todd, Cory Todd, Bo Lander, Harold Wood and George Kidwell. The family welcomes friends to her home following the service for fellowship and a celebration of Virginia's life.
