Your family has been in our thoughts ever since we learned about Glenn's accident. Our son and yours shared many USMC experiences while they were stationed at New River and during deployment. We have physical reminders of Glenn's talents - Dylan's tattoo was done by Glenn, and on a wall in our home we have a photo of Dylan in Afghanistan, taken by Glenn, that I enlarged to give my husband for Christmas. My husband has always loved that photo, and it means even more to us now. May time, memories and the love of family and friends help ease your grief. We wish you peace.

Dear Cheryl, Daniel and the Stremmel family: Jay and I want to extend our deepest sympathies to your family. We were so sorry to hear about Glen. Our middle son, David, played football with Glen at Bwood, and we remembered having Glen to our house many times for pre-game meals and get togethers at our game room. We will always remember his sweet smile and kind heart. Glen was always a good friend to David and was kind enough to include our youngest son, Mark, in their fun times. We lost our Mark in 2014, and we pray for you now. I know the pain you have now, but want you to know that with time, things will get better. You always miss your child, but hopefully you will remember all the wonderful times you had and be grateful for Glen in your lives. Please keep your family and friends close to you and always remember that God is with you. We don't always understand God's plan, but take comfort in the fact Glen is "flying high" in Heaven. I know how much Mark loved David's friends, and I would like to think that Mark was waiting for Glen to show him around Heaven. I can just picture them having another intense foosball competition in Heaven! Mark would beat most of the football players at foosball, pool and shuffleboard at pre-game meals, even though he was 4 years younger.
Please keep in mind that I am always available if you ever need someone to listen to you. Love, Patti Hoffmann
