Anne passed peacefully at Brazosport Memorial Hospital early Monday morning, February 22, 2016.
Anne was born the middle child of ten children to Riley and Sally Huie on October 4, 1924, in Enloe, Texas. She graduated from Enloe High School and was a homemaker after marrying her husband, of 72 years, Travis Millsap, of Clarksville, TX. Anne and Travis made their home in Freeport in 1952, where Anne soon became a member of the Freeport, and later, Clute Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Travis Millsap, 95, of Freeport, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Gerry Ray and Kay Millsap, of Freeport; son, Barry Millsap, of Austin; four grandchildren, Elizabeth and Jerry Gini, of California, Jon and Abigail Millsap, of Austin, Chele and Vince Robinette, of Austin, and Trey Sullivan, of Freeport. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Ruth Bruce, of Clute; special friend, Hattie Bell Harrison, of Freeport; 14 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Riley and Sally Huie; her nine siblings; and one great-grandson, Sawyer Sweeten.
The family request that those attending the services please wear some shade of pink to honor Anne. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Sawyer Sweeten Memorial Fund through the Mary S Roberts pet adoption center. Website is www.petsadoption.org

I was so saddened to learn of Anne's passing. I greatly enjoyed her company, and we loved to talk about flowers and plants. I am praying for Travis, Ruth, and all their families. Hold onto your special memories of Anne, and may you find comfort in knowing she is with the Lord. Our family still mourns the passing of sweet Sawyer, too. Love from your sister in Christ...
