What an angel they have earned in heaven today. He was a wonderful Christian man who I thoroughly enjoyed growing up around during my teenage years. I remember his smile and always nice greetings he gave me! He will be missed dearly on this earth however I know he will be shining down and watching over to those he loves and is having a good ol time in Heaven! Thoughts and prayers with his family at this time.

They say that once you have that special teacher, that your life will be shaped in a way you would have never guessed. I've had two such teachers in my life. He is the one who gave me a love for history and how to look at the world from a different perspective. The last time I saw him was at I-Hop . To my amazement he remembered me and David Hodge who were always on the front row of his class. My sincere condolences to the family of a man who was truly loved and left an impact.

Everyone who went to Clute Jr High knew Mr. Richardson. I had him for both English and History. He was a very good teacher. Everyone in school knew who he was, even those who didn't have him as a teacher. He was a teacher that was one of a kind. God Bless Vernon Richardson!

One of my favorite teachers when Clute Intermediate was Clute Junior High. He taught Texas History & Englisg. He also was a member of my church, First Baptist of Clute, TX. Mr. Richardson always made his classes fun & interesting. He also taught my daughter. He had an amusing personality. I'm sure all of his students remember him.

What a great man!! I had Mr. Richardson in 8th grade History at CIS. He is the person who gave me my love for history. When I finally got my teaching certification (alternative certification) they asked me what teacher had been an influence on me and without hesitation Mr. Richardson was first to come in mind. So many found memories in his classroom. His dry wit/sense of humor made his class a delight. He was tough but fair, and had a way that brought not just history to life, but the love of learning. He will be missed by so many!! He has touched so many lives. God bless!
