The beach was her favorite destination and she let everyone know. Lois Vitek Maxwell spent most of her life either owning a daycare or working for one. Until her last day, she was a loyal employee of Step By Step Christian School in Tomball, TX and loved being a part of it. She is survived by daughters Lynette and Suzie Maxwell, son Doug and spouse Robin and grandchildren Cole and Monica Maxwell. I am so very sad to hear of Lois' passing. She saw me outside several months ago stopped to just say "hello" She said she was in East Bernard watching her grandkids playing baseball and decided to come thru Wallis. She said they were everything to her.
I'll always remember her smiling and being so friendly.
My condolences to the family as I know she will be missed.

Lucille and Elizabeth Ann,
Our family sends our heartfelt sympathies to you and your families at what we know is a very very sad time. We have some fabulous memories of all the Vitek families being together. I especially remember thinking Lois and you two were the "cool cousins!" She was always such a kind and loving person. We know you hearts are broken. Please know you're in our prayers. I lost a wonderful friend in Lois. Through all the years she has been there for myself and my family. She was my neighbor for over 40 years closer to fifty. I'm going to miss you. When my husband died she was there for me and always encouraging. You will be missed.

We were so very, very sad to hear of Lois' passing. She was my second cousin and we grew up in Wallis together. Lois had a beautiful smile, a fun loving spirit, and was always a joy to be around! Heaven has gained a special angel.

Lois & Roy Maxwell were (and still are) our longtime friends & neighbors. We are so sad for her family and friends. Our children (Natalie & Keith) grew up with their children (Lynette, Doug, & Suzanne), and still remain friends. Lois will certainly be missed by everyone who knew her. I will certainly miss her phone calls & visits. Rest in piece, dear sweet Lois and we still love you. George & Sue Barnett

Ms. Maxwell was so sweet. She was the teacher in my daughter's room this year. She was a kind and funny lady. She will surely be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. It won't be the same without her.
