Funeral Services will be held at Lakewood Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday August 23, 2017. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the service. Robert Renfro, of Clute, TX, passed away on August 18th, 2017 at 74 years old. He was born in Putnamville, Indiana to the late Mary Kathryn Alexander and Charles Renfro. He moved to Texas in 1978. He worked as a mechanic at Brazos M&E. He also worked at a stone quarry as a heavy equipment operator for many years. He spent countless hours fishing and boating, he loved watching his favorite football team the Houston Texans. He leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Sharon Renfro; and his daughter, Tami Renfro Neal and spouse, Rory; two siblings, Charles Renfro and Joanne Olson. He also left behind his four grandchildren that he loved to pick on, Reggie Houston (Kim), Latasha Houston, Tyson Roderick (Kalynn), and Cortney Neal. He had three great-grandkids as well, Robert, Major, and Nastajia. He was preceded in death by his two sons, Robert Renfro II (Bobby), and Jeffery Alan, also one sibling, Ida Mae Scott.

Sharon and Tammy, Debbie just called and told me about Bo, I am sorry for your loss. I remember working with Uncle Bo when he worked for Gene Sargent. We would drive into Indy and I was labor while Bo was the operator. When I was a kid he was a hero of mine because he was a racer. I still remember him working on his stock car till all hours of the night! -1 was his number. Melony and I will be lifting you up in prayer. I apoligize for not being able to be there. Love you!
