Funeral services for Glen Reynolds, age 85, of Lake Jackson, TX will be held at 10:30 am on Monday October 2 at Lakewood Funeral Home with Mark Stuckey officiating. Interment will be held at Restwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Lakewood Funeral Home at 9:30 am on October 2. Glen was born September 17, 1932 in Trinity, TX. He grew up on his family farm and after high school graduation Glen proudly served his country in the army. He moved to Houston where he worked at the Nabisco Food Company. He then moved to Lake Jackson and worked at Dow Chemical. He retired from Brazoria Telephone Company after a 38- year career as a telecommunications technician. He married Jimmie Strother Reynolds on his birthday in 1954. They had three children whom he adored. He was a very loving father who will be dearly missed. Glen was always generous with time spent with his family. He took many memorable hunting trips with his sons. He was an avid gardener who could grow anything. He loved reading his Bible which was always within arm's reach. He passed away on September 28, 2017. Glen is survived by Jimmie Reynolds, wife of 63 years, his children Judy (Brian), Larry (Barbara), Russell (Sharon), siblings Nira, Lynn, and Darlene, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be: Larry Reynolds, Russell Reynolds, Brian Lotzenhiser, Mark Lotzenhiser, Charles Strother, and James Strother
