Patricia Ruth Spires 84, of Jones Creek, Texas passed away peacefully on February 9, 2019. She was surrounded by her loving family who released her into the arms of her Lord.
Mom had numerous interest including: teaching Sunday school and being a Girl Scout leader. She loved all types of music, gardening and reading. She especially enjoyed studying local history. Patricia loved her family & church but her most precious relationship was with her Lord Jesus. Her greatest legacy was sharing His love with others.
To cherish her memory Pat leaves daughters; Shirley Ivy, Susan Hopkins (Myles), Gina Zavala and Brenda Groves (Benny). Grandchildren; Bradley (Crystal), Clint (Shanda), Drew (Lalaine) and Chace Sparks. Amber, Lori and Jamie Ivy and Katie Ivy Standard (Skylar). Kimberly, Shane (Jill), Colt (Laura) and James (Brenda) Tidwell. Aaron Groves (Kayla). Also 22 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her family will celebrate her life with an intimate service. We, her daughters, were blessed to have such a wonderful mother who loved us with all of her heart. The Spires family would also like to extend our gratitude to all the staff at the ICU unit at UTMB Angleton/Danbury Hospital.
