I am so sorry for your family's loss. I worked for Dr. Grady when BEI first opened. I learned so much there from Dr. Grady and his excellent staff. He will be missed.

As the first Administrator of BEI and ardent fan and supporter of Franks immense intelligence and skill, I was so sad to learn of his death today. One assumes that those people who have "larger than life" personalities will somehow cheat death. I'm so disappointed that my annual note and accompanying Christmas card are late this year as he always responded with updates of the family. I occasionally babysat Jonathan and Brent and know how much Frank (and Donna) loved their kids. I hold only fond memories of the man with true vision (he would appreciate the pun) for not only his field of ophthalmology, but his keen business sense and his willingness to explore new ventures. I learned many MANY valuable life lessons in my few years as the Administrator of BEI. Sending love to the family and staff - I know the clinic and surgical center are in good hands as Jonathan carries his fathers legacy forward.
