Ignacio Damian Sr, of Freeport, TX, went to be with the Lord on July 26, 2020 in Houston, TX.
Ignacio began his relationship with the Lord at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Freeport, TX and continued his walk with God at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Freeport, TX. Through his faith, and by example, Ignacio established a foundation for his family to know God and follow after him. Ignacio was a hard worker who managed a retail seafood company, owned Freeport Seafood, and a retiree of American Rice. His favorite sport's teams included the Houston Oilers, Houston Texans, and Houston Astros.
Ignacio is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Lillie A. Damian; children, Ignacio Damian Jr. (Anita), Ernest Damian (Donna), Josie Lucas (Steve), Ricky Damian (Stacy), Brenda Damian; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Damian Sr.; sister Lupe Mendoza; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ignacio is preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers; 1 sister; and great-grandson, Levi Graham.
Funeral services for Ignacio Damian Sr.,83, of Freeport, TX will be held at 2:00 on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at St. Mary's in Freeport, TX. A rosary will be held at 1:15 with funeral services following. There will be no visitation or viewing. Facial masks and/or coverings are required, along with social distancing.

Mrs. Damian and family I truly am so very sorry for the loss of Mr. Damian .. My Heart Aches ... My thoughts and prayers are with you all since we are not able to be physically present. Many beautiful memories I will have of how a truly genuine man and such loving husband and father and grandfather. This is what I remember the most of Mr. Damian. 🙏
