Max was truly one of the most kind hearted people we had the pleasure to know. Also one of the funniest. We will miss those stories he told like no one but someone from East Texas could tell. He was very much loved and will be missed greatly.

I have so many great memories of Uncle Max and every one of them ends with my laughing until I hurt. He was such a gentle man whose love for God and family shown in every thing he did. While so many hearts are hurting from his absence here on Earth, imagine the joy of the Heavenly reunions he's joining in now. I'm guessing the fishing is pretty darn good in the clear empyrean waters. Repose en paix doux ange.

Max never greeted me or told me goodbye that I didn't feel loved. I admired him as a father, husband, friend and brother in Christ. I look forward to hearing his laugh again when he greets me again one day. Very much love to and many prayers for his precious family.

I was blessed to know this man most of my life. He was always so loving to me and always said he was proud of me. He truly cared about everyone and took the time to ask how you were doing. Everytime I called we shared a laugh and picked up where we left off no matter how much time had passed. Max was a good man and will forever have a place in my heart and I will treasure lifelong memories. He will be missed. With love to all the family. Thank you for always making me feel like a part of it. Sherry
