Jane was born February 11, 1926 and died Monday, December 14, 2020 at the age of 94.

In 1952, Jane went to work at the Brazoria County Abstract Company as a typist. After working for 39 years with three generations of the Stevens family, beginning with Frank K. Stevens, she retired having risen to vice president.

Jane's church and music was always a big part of her life. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Angleton, where she sang in the choir for 68 years. Jane also loved taking her little boy, John, to the beach while he "held back" the waves for her. She enjoyed giving luncheons and dinner parties for family and friends.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents; John and Elinor Price, her beloved husband of 49 years; Spencer Hanson, sister; Betty Lee Hannon, Stepdaughter and husband; Margo and Gene Lenamon.

She is survived by her sister and best friend, Elinor (Hon) Weaver, son and wife; John Spencer and Toni Emmitte Hanson, stepdaughter; Maureen (Jorgie) Lewis, grandchildren; Thomas and Rachael Hanson Friudenberg, Silvia and Sarah Hanson Leija, Mitch and Catherine Lewis, Keith and Tracy Lewis Sterns, Margene Lenamon, and Leeann Lenamon.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.

What a wonderful compassionate lady to never be forgotten.
