L.D. is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Billie Smith: daughter and son-in law Lisa and Dean Strauser of Spring, TX; Grandson Dylan Strauser of Houston, TX; Sister-in-Law Betty Goins; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in his death by his sons Greg Smith and Keith Smith; Parents James Claude and Tusie Mable Smith; Brother Jack Smith (Beatrice); Sisters Hazel Parker (Howard); Mabel Smith (Jim); Louise Weisinger (Boots); Dorothy Franks (Thomas); Brother-in-Law Jack Goins.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) at mda.org in memory of L.D. Smith.
