Lee was born in the small central Texas town of Thrall as the 8th of 9 children to Peter Andrew and Lilly Agnes Corley. She grew up in central Texas and northwest Louisiana where her father worked in the oil fields. She graduated from high school in Mansfield LA and it was there that she met and married James Robert "Bobby" Webb on October 12, 1952. Soon after, Bobby and Lee moved to Angleton, TX and Bobby went to work as a chemist for Dow and Lee served as Secretary to the Principal at Northside Elementary for 40 years.

Leelee as she was known in later years is survived by her sons and their wives; Robert and Patrice, Russell and Lanna and her grandchildren Justin, Lane, Zoe', Arianna and great-grandsons Bixby and Michael.

Lee outlived all of her siblings except for one, Sybil Ruffin of Mansfield LA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and some good friends. Lee's passing was due to covid induced pneumonia as she was 88 years old and unable to recover.

Lee was a devout Christian and prayed daily for her family and friends; she was very generous and kind and lived a very productive life full of love and good will. She will be dearly missed but we also know that she is not only in our past, but in our future.

A memorial gathering and celebration of her life will be held at a later date to be announced.

Both Lee and Bobby willed their bodies to medical science and their remains will be scattered at a special place according to their wishes.
