A great co-worker, father, brother and a firefighter!
I will always remember the small chats at work about how he loves his family/work and how to be a good father to a girl after I got blessed with my first daughter.
Billy was a brother not just to me! To all the Saudi young me he trained overseas.
I will never forget the sacrifice that you did leaving your home to train us how to be safe.
One of the biggest lost to the Hazmat community.

I am so sorry for your loss. Billy was an amazing man, and I will never forget how wonderful he was. I have so many memories of him as a kid (I loved hearing the story of how he saved my older sister from toddling out a window) and he was such a blessing to my family when my dad (Chandler Westjohn) was sick and passed. He was truly a great person, and we will all miss him dearly.

Billy was a true hero! Not the type in slick movies, but a real life hard working, life saving dedicated man. One of the more humble people I've worked with, and a witness to Christ in his everyday life. Few could ask for more in a man. Rest In Peace brother Yates. You are in good company up there!

Cindy, Daughters and Entire Yates Family, I am still in shock over this one, Billy was certainly one of the good guys. Spent a lot of time with Billy on the road (TRANSCAER Tours, ES&S Training/Meetings, and Soma, Japan after the tsunami for Dow) and he always talked about Cindy and the girls - know that he loved all of you until his last breath! Truly thought of Billy as a Brother - kind, soft spoken, unassuming, professional, and no one better to share a fox hole. He will be missed, but remembered always!! Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you!
