Funeral services for Cortni LaNell Campbell, age 29, of Sweeny, Texas, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Lakewood Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bill Campbell officiating.

Cortni Campbell was born on December 23, 1991, and God called her home on October 22, 2021. Cortni loved softball and was very outgoing and always there to help a friend in need. She was extraordinarily smart and always had a bright smile on her face. She was a daughter, mother, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and sister, who will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her mother, Kathy Campbell; father, Billy Campbell; sisters, Kenzi Garcia, Ashley Campbell, and Chelsi Campbell; grandmother, Patti Kornegay; Papa Roy Smith; daughter, Sophie Herrarra , 10, and son, Carson Davis , 5, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins .

Cortni is preceded in death by Meme Sandra Smith ; papa , Edward Campbell, Mammal Diane Campbell, and grandfather , Ken Kachel.
