Ronnie Earl Goff, 70, of Surfside Beach, Texas, passed away at his home in Surfside on March 21, 2022. Ronnie was born on October 24, 1951 to Earl Eugene and Daisy Lorain Goff in Pasadena, Texas.
Ronnie joined the Merchant Marines at the age of 17 and traveled the world before settling in the Houston area. He was a sheetrock and drywall specialist for many years. Ronnie retired at the place he called heaven on earth, Surfside. His love of the beach was only surpassed by the love of his family.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Janet; and his wife, Valerie.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, Zachariah Goff and wife, Alison, Jeremie Goff and wife, Nicole; grandchildren, Kylie Goff, Lexie Goff, Taylor Goff, Cohen Goff and Jackson Jeansonne; brothers, Rick Goff and wife, Robin, Jerry Goff and wife, Vicki, Randy Goff and wife, Patty; sisters, Glenda McGonigle and friend, Mike Anderson, Brenda Brilhart and Judy Pyburn; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Kelly and Amy with the Hospice Care Team.
A celebration of Ronnie's life is planned for a later date and will include the sound of the ocean, sandy toes, plenty of sunshine and a game of horseshoes.
