Our hearts are broken to announce that Albert (Abby) D. Taylor Jr. was given a set of wings on September 10, 2022. He was born to Albert and Sharon Taylor on October 6, 1967 in Sparta, Illinois. The saying goes that only the good die young, and at a young 54 he was definitely one of the good ones. Albert passed suddenly of liver cancer.
Albert was always a superhero to everyone. He was always your first call when your car would need a repair or you just needed a hand with something. He would always come to the rescue. It didn't matter if it was just diagnosing your car over the phone, making a place for you to lay your head, or giving you the shirt off his back, he would do it with a smile. Albert was a joker. It made him smile to be able to put a smile on your face. Albert loved kids, never was there a baby he wouldn't hold and love on, or a kids sporting events he wouldn't attend and be their biggest fan! Albert was a kind soul; he never met a stranger. If you ever had the privilege of meeting him you would have known right away what a good man he was.
He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Sharon Taylor, his brothers Heath, Joseph, and Anthony. He will always be loved, missed, and remembered by the ones left behind. His beloved children Ricky and wife Clarissa Wilson, Brieann Wilson, and Thomas Broshears. 6 grandkids. Siblings Patricia Thompson, Lonnie Taylor, Mark and wife Diana Taylor, James and wife Cordelia Taylor, Troy Taylor, Samantha and husband Roger Padron, and Nicole Corona and Ray Clay (also known as his brother from another mother). Thirtyone nieces and nephews and countless great and great great nieces and nephews. He will always be missed and loved by all of those that called him Uncle Abby.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday November 5, 2022 at 2:00pm at his place of residence at 4924 CR 803 Brazoria, Tx 77422. Please come one and all and share in the stories and smiles he put on our faces.
