It is with a heavy heart that our family announce that Terry Ray Jouett, age 68 passed away on Friday, May 26th, 2023 at St. Luke's-Brazosport Hospital in Lake Jackson, TX.

Terry Ray Jouett was born on August 25, 1954 in Nashville, TN to Leslie (Bill) John Jouett and Mary Ann. His parents soon moved and settled in Richwood, TX where him and his brothers grew up.

A 1973 graduate from Brazoswood High School where he played baseball. He was a Lamar University graduate with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice in May of 1977. He briefly served as a Beaumont police office after graduating Lamar University. He received his master's in business administration from the University of Arkansas in May 1980. He spent 19 years in the Air Force as a pilot.He loved watching and attending the Houston Astro's baseball games with family and friends. Spending time outdoors, fishing, crabbing, traveling and enjoying walks.
Terry is preceded in death by his father, Leslie (Bill) John Jouett and Mother Mary Ann Jouett. He is survived by his two brothers, David Wayne Jouett and wife Redjellie ''Jellie'' and Michael Lynn Jouett. His two daughters, Jennifer Anne Cappuccio and husband Steve, and Kathryn Celeste ''KC'' Jouett-Barnes and partner Gerardo Carmona Jr. His six grandchildren, Sabastian Cappuccio and wife Noelia, Hunter Cappuccio, Penelope Cappuccio, Pe'a Cappuccio, Harlow Cappuccio, Declan Cappuccio and Grayson ''Rookie'' Barnes; great-granddaughter Giada.

The family would like to thank his entire hospice care team, nursing staff, and hospital staff for caring for Terry over these last few months.

A private ceremony with close family with be held on Friday June 3, 2023 in Richwood TX, as well the daughter's will be having a private ceremony in San Antonio on Monday June 5, 2023.
