MiMi always put the Lord first in her life. She was a devoted mother who treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren immensely and took great pride in each of them and their accomplishments. To all who knew her, MiMi will be remembered as a true friend, prayer warrior, and encourager.

I met my cousin Roy and Barbara when I was very young. They were newlyweds,
so fun and loving. When they moved to Texas, we saw them fairly often. Always kind, fun and ready to help with whatever was needed. Roy & Barbara were clever as well. When Hurricane Carla hit in 1961, they were right in the path of Carla. We lost touch with them for several days. Everyone was worried. No cell phones or internet then. At last, we got a phone call from Roy. They were fine. He had put his family on his crew boat and taken them inland, up the San Bernard River! They had ridden away from the storm on the water! They are together again! We were so blessed to have them.

There are absolutely NO WORDS that can tell you how much MiMi still means to me. Her soul has made its way to heaven but her loving Christian example will remain with those she touched. She was a Christian and first-class lady to say the least. I am grateful to feel like she became my second "mom" and welcomed me into her life. MiMi you were truly someone I loved and respected and you will live on in my heart. You set the bar high for those of us you left behind. Thank you for your unconditional love and Christian example. I will see you when my day comes. Love you always, Bev
