Sybil was the most gracious and loving person I've ever known. She was my best friend. We had the best conversations about everyday living and what ''makes the world go 'round''! She was a real inspiration about my genealogy research. I truly miss her!

Sybil was the oldest grandchild of G H and Maude Smith of Eakly, Oklahoma. She visited often and was very special in their hearts as was all 10 of their grandchildren. Family was the center of their world and Sybil inherited that trait throughout her life.
As one of those grandchildren, I looked up to Sybil admiring her beauty, accomplishments, and independence. She was the best example to me throughout my formative years. I loved hearing her stories about her career opportunities and dedication to her students through their education journey. I am sure that influence will continue through time in many lives. Love you Sybil!

Through her years in public education Sybil made a huge positive impact . She was a fabulous role model and mentor to younger faculty and to countless students. A blessing from the Lord.

Sybil was loving, caring, selfless and always seemed to put other people's needs before hers. Myself, Amanda, Emily Ann and Andrew (her great nieces and neph and nephew) we're blessed to have her as part of our life. Other than my mother, she is the most wonderful woman I have ever met.

Sybil was a wonderful part of our family. She was always smiling and blessing us with goodness. Now she is in Heaven where she so deserves to be !
