Cheryl Ann Hoobler Khoury,61, passed away on June 1, 2024, surrounded by family in Lake Jackson, TX, following a long battle with cancer. Cheryl was born March 28, 1963, in Freeport, TX, to Jerry and Emily Hoobler. She was a lifelong resident of Lake Jackson and attended Brazoswood High School. Cheryl was a member of Hope Fellowship Church, where she always felt the love of Jesus through its members. As a young mother, Cheryl took pleasure in taking her children to the beach and fishing with them and her husband. In later years, she enjoyed visiting with friends and family and taking care of her many pets. Cheryl also found much happiness in the simple things in life such as sitting in the sunshine and watching the birds.

Cheryl is survived by three sons, Kenneth Keleman, Brandon (Alicia) Keleman, and Jack (Leticia) Khoury, all of Lake Jackson, TX. Grandchildren, Noah Grace of San Antonio, TX, Jordan Keleman of San Antonio, TX, Kaydence Keleman of Lake Jackson, TX, Ezra Khoury of Lake Jackson, TX, and Tyler Khoury of Lake Jackson, TX. Brothers, Terry Hoobler of Angleton, TX, Larry Hoobler of Jones Creek, TX, and Gary Hoobler of Lake Jackson, TX. Mother-in-law, Sue Fitts of Clute, TX. Several nieces and nephews.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Khoury and her parents, Jerry and Emily Hoobler, all of Lake Jackson, TX.

The family will host a Celebration of Life Memorial in honor of Cheryl on Saturday, June 22,12-2:30, at the home of her son, Jack Khoury. Family and friends are invited to attend to celebrate the life of Cheryl Khoury.
