Brandon Fraker, born on September 7, 1982, in San Diego, California, passed away suddenly, but peacefully on August 24, 2024. A cherished husband, father, son, brother, and friend, Brandon's life was a testament to his giving heart and boundless generosity.

Brandon grew up in San Diego before moving to Texas and graduating from Wharton High School in 2000. He furthered his education at Sam Houston State University, where he was an active member of his fraternity. He returned home to Wharton to help his mother, Monica, finish raising his younger siblings.

It was back in Wharton where Brandon met the love of his life, Jennifer. The couple married on April 20, 2009, and built a life together filled with love, laughter, and two beautiful children, Mya and Quentin Fraker. Brandon was a devoted husband and a loving father, always placing his family at the center of his world.

In addition to his family, Brandon's passion for sports was a defining aspect of his life. He was an enthusiastic supporter of all the Houston sports teams. This enthusiasm for sports bled over into his everyday life as he coached his son, Quentin, in soccer, baseball, and basketball. He was beloved by so many for his leadership, patience, and constant dedication to teaching his boys sportsmanship. We surely can't forget to mention his phenomenal skills in fantasy sports.

His love for his family and sports was matched only by his enjoyment of camping, gardening, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Brandon was known for his open heart and kind spirit, qualities that endeared him to many. His friends and family remember him as someone who was always there to lend a hand or offer a word of encouragement.

He is survived by his wife Jennifer; his children, Mya and Quentin; siblings: Fallon Fraker and husband, Richard, Coty Fraker, Darryl Fraker and husband, Duane, Dylan Fraker and wife, Lindsay; Sisters in Law: Stephanie and Kalyn LaPoma; his nieces and nephews, Robert, Brea, Cecily, Maria, Kylah, Callum, Lee, Hannah, Dillion, Kylie, Tyler and Colton; his mother, Monica Fraker, and father, Bill Fraker,; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Darrell and Sherryl LaPoma. He was preceded in death by his brother, Wyatt Fraker.

Brandon Fraker's legacy of love, friendship, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer potted plants.

Rest in peace, Brandon. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Funeral service will be at 1:00pm Wednesday, September 4th, 2024 at Lakewood Funeral Chapel with visitation prior to the service from 11:00am to 1:00pm.

Refreshments will be served after the service until 4:00pm at Lakewood Funeral Chapel.
