Sherry Louise Jones , 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family September 20, 2024 in Lake Jackson. She was born October 8, 1950 in Houston , Tx. She worked for Gingerbread House Daycare for over 20 years, she loved shaping the minds of children she was their first teacher as she was in the infant and toddler rooms. She loved dedicating her life to her family and her grand babies were her life. She loved giving her time to her church St. Jerome Catholic Church. Her heart was focused on helping others as she was a Catholic Daughter.

Mom never forgot a birthday, holiday or anniversary, she always took the time to pick out a special card and handwrite something sweet in every card! She always made sure that she made every event her Grand Children participated in. What she loved the most was the time she spent with her soulmate of 54 years, their love was always shown by a sweet kiss, holding hands and their adorable hugs. Mom's smile would brighten a room and her servants heart was everywhere she went.

She is survived by her loving Husband Milton Roy Jones of Lake Jackson , Daughter 's Kathy Lambright (Fiancé Babe Scott) of Angleton, Kristi McIntire (husband Sean McIntire) of Lake Jackson, her sisters Sue Christ (husband Harvey) and Sandra Benge, her nieces and nephews Patti Bean (husband Ray their children Hunter & Macy) Stacey Zwahr (husband Jason their children Kailee & Jayden) Joey Benge (wife Brittney their children Aryn, Easton & Briley) John Benge, grandchildren Tayler Kucera (Fiancé Ryan Johnston), Scott H. McIntire, Gracie Lambright, Blain Lambright , Sarah E. McIntire, Sydney M. McIntire, Michael C. McIntire, James S. McIntire, Taylor Scott (wife Jordyn), Shelby Scott, Mason Scott, great grandchildren Cohen Johnston, Heath M. McIntire, James P. McIntire, Connor A. McIntire, Destiny K. McIntire, Aleah E. McIntire, Piper & Easton Horton, Gracie Lynn & Taylen Scott.

She is proceeded in death by her mom Louise Macey, her dad James A. Macey Sr. , her brothers James's A Jr and Samuel Macey.

Ms. Sherry was a wonderful woman and an amazing care giver and teacher. Her spirit always lit up the room. Blessings to her family during this difficult time. She will always be very special.
