Bob was born June 2,1946, in Victoria, Texas. He left us on September 25, 2024. Bob was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time on the ICW and the Texas Gulf as well as lake fishing. Bob was a board member of the Sugar Land CCA Chapter. He started work at Bell & Howell in San Antonio as a service supervisor and then as a sales rep for Kodak. He retired as President of BH Imaging in 2014.
Bob leaves his wife of fifty-five years Barbara Shafer Hilliard, daughter Andrea Evans (Bryan), son Jeffrey Hilliard (Ashley), granddaughters Jessica, Abbey, Parker, and grandson Logan. Also, his sisters Esther Harrell and Phyllis Gregory of Devine, Texas, as well as a niece and nephews, who will all miss Uncle Bobby. Bob is preceded by his father Earnest Hilliard and mother Evelyn (Wiemers) Hilliard.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to an organization that was very important to Bob, The Coastal Conservation Association of Texas. Bob was a board member of the Sugar Land chapter and hosted many events at his and Barbara's home. Donations can be made at: https://ccatexas.org/donate/.
