Kenneth, otherwise known as Kenny, served in the Army shortly after his high school years. Kenny was a proud husband and father who spent most of his life working to support his family. He held a few different jobs throughout his years which included Dow Chemical, HEB, and the last 24 years at Kroger's in Clute. Kenny was a hard worker who had a love for riding motorcycles, listening to music, and enjoying his Bucees coffee.
Kenney is preceded in death by his father James Alcad Stayton, mother Mary Jane Shanks, and brothers Ronnie and Jerry Stayton
Kenny leaves behind his wife of 43 years Terri Stayon, his three children Jeremy Stayton (wife Nicole), Karla Treaster (husband Tim), Eric Stayton, and his 6 grandkids Krislyn, Thomas, Zaden, Joseph, Hunter, and Eric Jr., as well as many cousins, and all his favorite animals.
A celebration of life will be held on November 9th, at the Richwood Fire Station (218 Halbert St, Richwood, Tx 77531) from 2:30-6:00.

He was a good man, that always had a smile on his face. Will truly be missed, I remember him riding around Clute on his uni-cycle. God rest his weary soul.

Dad words can't express the sadness felt by not having you with us anymore but I know you are in a better place and now pain free and worry free. Your hard work and love for the family has been a true inspiration for me making me a hard worker even on the toughest days. You worked until you couldn't do it anymore and didn't even get to enjoy retirement because you were so committed to your support. The days spent with you at work as a kid growing up had a true influence on my life. I truly believe that those experiences helped me be in the career I am in and being so successful. I will never forget the joys and fun we had when I was in the Boy Scouts and the times you told me stories of when you served in the Army. I surely will miss having you at the table on our family gatherings and holidays and making sure that there is just the right foods so that there is always something you would eat. Dad we will miss you very much and I hope that I get to see you one day in heaven and we can embrace each other again.
