Michael Sabrsula (72) of Lake Jackson, Texas passed away on November 8, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Born on July 10, 1952, in Freeport, TX to Frank and Quintella Sabrsula. He was raised in Lake Jackson and graduated from Brazosport High School in 1970. He worked in the petro-chemical industry and construction management for over 40 years. In 2017 he retired and devoted his time to family, hobbies and volunteering at church. He had a passion for cars and always had a project he was working on. He was an active member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church where he served in many ministries and the Knights of Columbus (4th Degree member since February 2024). His family was everything to him. He enjoyed spending time with his kids but most especially with the grandkids. He was known for imparting his wisdom on family members - who often sought out his advice. He spent his life working hard, providing for his family and enjoying all life had to offer.

Mike is survived by his wife of 36 years, Toni; his children Ryan Sabrsula (Kristen); Miranda Bain (Joe); Matthew Mayberry (Dana); his grandchildren Dylan, Zane, Autumn, Finley, Henry, and Hudson. Two sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Katy Mayberry.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Lake Jackson, TX. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Restwood Cemetery. Mike and I played as boys and were best of friends. We did sleep overs at each other's homes. I will always remember the go cart his father built for him. RIP my friend.
