Carroll Layne Jensen, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother. And friend, was born on July 19,1957 to Barbara Pearl Spinks and Vana B. Sirmons. He was later adopted by James V. Jensen, who became a cherished father figure in his life and made a beautiful family with all the children between the two. On February 23,2025, Carroll peacefully went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Carroll's life was marked by a fun-loving spirit, a generous heart, and an unwavering commitment to his family. He was a man who always put his loved ones first, offering kindness, laughter, an open heart to all who knew him. Carroll proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, a chapter of his life that instilled in him a deep sense of duty and honor that he carried with him throughout his years.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Tammy Jensen; their two children, Cody Jensen, married to Stephanie and their daughter Kristy and husband Sonny Carlson. Carroll was a proud and loving grandfather to three beautiful grandchildren. Camryn, Laynie, and Caleb Jensen. In Addition to his immediate family, Carroll leaves behind his brothers Van and Terry Jensen, sister Lynn Jensen Helton, brother Randy Jensen David Jensen, Larry Sirmons, sister Candy Sirmons Burk; long with numerous nephews and nieces who all held a special place in his heart.

After a long and fulfilling career, Carroll retired from DOW Chemical after 40 years of dedicated service. He was a valued member of First Baptist Church of Lake Jackson, where he was a valued member and served the Lord with a humble heart, Becoming the church's maintenance supervisor and offering his skills and passion to the congregation.
A celebration of Carroll's life will be held on March 22,2025 at First Baptist Church in Lake Jackson. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m., followed by the service at 11: 00a.m

The family would like to give thanks to Carriage Flowers Shop for taking care of the flower arrangements.

Carroll's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be dearly missed but forever cherished.

I love Carroll with all my heart. So much fun, and a great, hard working, caring guy. I am so fortunate to have a friend as loyal as him. May God bless you Tammy and all of your family as you go through this really hard time.
