Mr Thomas was a neighbor and friend on Avenue G and I went to school with his sons. He was always upbeat and smiling and we talked many times about his garden and he was very proud of his sons and grandchildren. He made life on our street much better for all of us. Our Love to Your Family Doug McKenzie P.S. John 5:28, Psalm 37:29, Rev 21:3,4

The Thomas family epitomizes what was great about growing up in Freeport in the 60's. Mr. Thomas raised three great sons and I was fortunate to know Doug and Rocky quite well, and to watch Max help pitch the Exporter baseball team to a state championship. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Thomas family.
