She was born in Clarksville, Texas on May 7, 1926 to Otis and Mamie Potts.
She was preceded in death by her parens, three brothers and one sister.
Left to cherish her memories are George Perry Townes, her husband of sixty-seven years,
daughter, Jeannie Sharp (James), son Roger Townes (Rhonda), three grandchildren, Lisa Ruhmann, Waylon Townes, and Cody Townes, two great-grandchildren, Joshua RUmann and Landon Townes, and many other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 6 pm until 8 pm Wednesday at Lakewood Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be 10 am Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel with Pastor Gary Thornton officiating.
Burial will be at Restwood Memorial Park in the Garden of Peace.

I am so very sorry for your loss Jeannie. I have loved your parents since the first time I met them. I know it is so hard to lose someone you love, especially during the holidays.
