Memorial services for Norma Joyce Scarborough, 75, of Lake Jackson, will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2012, at Lakewood Funeral Home with Greg Pickering officiating.
Norma spent her early years in Waco, Texas then moved to Houston as a teenager. After graduating from Aldine Sr. High School, she worked as a bookkeeper. She then moved to Lake Jackson to spend her later years with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Jones; son, Tom and Regina Scarborough; son, Bob and Denise Scarborough; nine grandchildren, Craig and Faith Jones, of Lubbock, Texas, Clark Jones, Kevin Jones, Glenn Scarborough and John Scarborough, Ashley and Rachel Nguyen and Sarah and Amber Scarborough; and two great-grandchildren, Seth and Elijah Jones.

Aunt Norma was a beautiful lady inside and I was so blessed to have spent some family time with her last year on 2 occasions. We shared many happy memories and I know that now she's no longer suffering. Rest in peace my dear Aunt... Love Always to the family and may God's blessings be with you always, Pat Holmes
