My mother lived at Carriage Inn for many years and so I saw Oscar many, many times. He was the most energetic worker I have ever seen. I kept telling him to slow down and he would say he had too much to do. He always had a smile for all of the residents and visitors. He was so kind to my mom, who also just passed away, that I wanted to let his family know that a lot of people outside of his family loved him, too.

I will miss you so much. In the short time we started getting to know one another, you made me smile inside and out. I looked forward to seeing you when I was making my rounds selling roses, and the last time I did see you, you bought all the roses I had left in my basket... I will never forget you. You were so kind and respectful to me. You gave me compliments about how I looked and my singing. Kisses and Hugs!!!
