Bonnie Elaine Ellington, age 54, went to be with her Lord and Savior, May 19, 2012.
Bonnie was born January 20, 1958, in Freeport, TX, to Matthew and Helen Ellington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and several aunts and uncles.
She is survived by one brother, Floyd Ellington and wife, Catherine, of Lake Jackson, TX; niece, Careen Miller and husband, Matt, of Austin, TX; great-nephews, Ashton and Gavin Miller, of Austin, TX; one great-niece, Krista Miller, also of Austin, TX; step-niece, Kristen Penka, of Lake Jackson, TX and Danette Beatty, of Milford, MI; one uncle, Al Greyhosky, of Aurora, CO; one aunt, Martha Ellington, of El Paso, TX; and numerous cousins. Bonnie is also survived by her lifelong good friend, Linda DuBois, of Dayton, TX.
Bonnie graduated from Brazosport High School in 1977. She lived most of her life in Jones Creek, TX.
She was a dual member of the Order Of The Eastern Star, Lake Jackson chapter 1009 and Velasco chapter 220, was active in her church, and was currently taking online courses at Ashford University.
She took joy in her pet cats that she had over the years, spending time with her sisters in the The Order Of The Eastern Star, and working on her bachelors degree.
Bonnie had a strong faith in God and is now free of her handicapped earthly body to walk pain free hand in hand with her Lord and Savior.
A memorial service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 86 Plantation Drive, Lake Jackson, TX on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Paul Geisler officiating.

Dear Floyd, I am so sorry to hear about your loss of your sister Bonnie. She was a very sweet and intelligent girl from what I remember of her. I know the pain of the loss of a little sister and my heart goes out to you and your family. I apologize for the tardiness of this. I will keep you all in my prayers.
