Dianna Arlene Roden, 50, of Freeport went to heaven on May 20, 2012. She was born April 9, 1962.
She was preceded in death by her father, Delbert Roden; and her companion of 30 years, Herman "Butch" Shane.
She is survived by her two daughters, Samantha Barth of Gainsville, FL, and Amanda Shane of Pearland, TX; one son, Michael Roden of Clute, TX; brother, Delbert Roden of Lake Jackson, TX; and mother, Elizabeth Ann Roden of Wilburton, OK. Also surviving is one grandchild, Jacob; numerous cousins and friends.
Services will be held June 1, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Freeport Funeral Home.

Dianna was our niece. We have not kept up with her and was very saddened to hear. We have very fond memories of her when she was a young child. Full of life. We would enjoy a visit sometime from her children. Michael and Mandy. Would love to be there but must be elsewhere on Friday at the time. Please accept our deepest sorrow at this time..
