Felipe Sanchez Garcia, 64, of Jones Creek, Texas went home to his Lord Friday, August 31, 2012. He was born February 3, 1948 in Beeville, Texas to Pedro and Maria Garcia. Felipe came to the Brazosport area in 1964. Felipe was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church and later moved his membership to St. Mary's Catholic Church. He retired from Dow Chemical Company after 30 years of service.


He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, Incarnation and Isabel Sanchez.


Felipe is survived by his wife of 43 years, Margaret Salina Garcia, of Jones Creek,


3 sons: Steven Charles Garcia of Greenwood, Indiana,


Anthony Tino Garcia and wife Teresa of Jones Creek,


Felip Ryan Garcia of Clute,


9 grandchildren: Paul Steven Garcia and wife Courtney,


Sean Michael Garcia,


Mark Anthony Garcia and wife Amber,


Matthew Thomas Garcia,


Dylan Steven Garcia,


Anthony G.F. Garcia,


Angel Tino Garcia,


Julissa Teresa Garcia ,


Lillie Solis and husband Steven,


12 great grandchildren, and


5 brothers and 5 sisters.


The family will receive friends 6pm until 8pm Monday with a 6;30pm Rosary at St. Mary's Star of the Sea. The funeral mass will be 2:30pm Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at St. Mary's with Father Edmond Eduarte officiating. Interment will follow at Gulf Prairie Cemetery.





Pall bearers will be: Jimmy Garcia, Bobby Salinas, Albert lee Esquivel, Jesse Louis Gonzales, Aaron Salinas, Andrew Luna, Christopher Luna, Randy Luna, and Anthony Garcia.
